For K-12 and higher education
FERPA-aligned · Title VI language access Parents in the conversation,
not the waiting room.
Title VI requires meaningful language access in federally funded schools. OmniLink puts parents and students into IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, enrollment paperwork, and behavioral incident calls — without scheduling a district interpreter weeks ahead.
OmniLink is for use by school staff. Students do not self-onboard.
Built for the conversations you have every day.
Parent-teacher conferences
Schedule conferences without waiting for a district interpreter. Run the conversation, capture follow-ups, send notes home in the parent's language.
IEP / 504 meetings
Bring the full IEP team into the room. AI-assisted interpretation keeps the meeting flowing; legally required documents still come from the district's qualified interpreter for signature.
ESL family outreach
Routine outreach calls — attendance, field trips, school-supply lists, immunization reminders — that today either don't happen or happen poorly.
Enrollment & registration
New-student registration paperwork, McKinney-Vento intake, ELL placement screening conversations with the parent.
Behavioral incident calls
Time-sensitive conversations with parents about an incident at school. Get the facts across in real time, document the conversation, route the note to the student's record.
First-gen college counseling
Higher-ed enrollment offices and TRIO programs: financial-aid walkthroughs and FAFSA conversations with families who don't share the student's English.
The posture your district lawyer will accept.
OmniLink is built for the Title VI documentation expectations of K-12 districts and higher-ed institutions receiving federal funding, with FERPA-aligned data handling and US-only residency.
Compliance posture
- Title VI language-access posture document available on request — covers languages, qualified-interpreter fallback, and documentation procedure.

- US-only data residency. No overseas processing.
- Configurable retention. Default for student-touching content follows the district's records-retention schedule.
- No automated student-academic decisions — explicit prohibited use in our Terms.

- Skyward (S3 / generic webhook)
- Google Workspace for Education (Drive delivery for note PDFs)

Common questions for this industry.
Can OmniLink replace our district interpreter for IEP meetings?
No — the IDEA and your state's special-education regulations have specific qualified-interpreter requirements for IEP meetings. Use OmniLink for the routine and ad-hoc family communication where scheduling a district interpreter isn't feasible. Many districts use OmniLink to free up their qualified interpreter's time for the IEP meetings where they are legally required.
Does this meet our Title VI obligations?
OmniLink is one tool in your Title VI program. It documents that you are taking reasonable steps to provide meaningful language access — but the program also requires written translations of vital documents, qualified-interpreter availability for high-stakes situations, and ongoing language-access policy enforcement. We provide a posture document showing how OmniLink fits in.
What about FERPA?
Session Content is treated as an education record under the school's control. OmniLink processes it as a service provider with a written agreement covering FERPA-aligned protections, US-only residency, and prohibitions on third-party disclosure. The school remains the controller of the record.
Can students sign up directly?
No. OmniLink is for use by school staff (teachers, administrators, counselors, family-liaison personnel). Students do not have direct access.
What languages do you cover for the families we serve?
OmniLink lists 90+ languages, each labelled by maturity. The Stable set covers most large language groups (Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Arabic, Korean, Tagalog, etc.). Haitian Creole is in Beta, and an immigration-language pack (K'iche', Hassaniya Arabic) is in development and not yet available — ask us if you have a specific need.
