For healthcare teams
HIPAA-ready · BAA available · §1557 language access Interpretation that fits the visit,
not the schedule.
Acute care, ambulatory, FQHCs, behavioral health, telehealth. OmniLink delivers ACA §1557 language access in seconds — without waiting on a vendor dispatch or pulling a clinician off the floor.
Healthcare workspaces activate after BAA is signed with OmniLink and every PHI-path subprocessor.
Built for the conversations you have every day.
OB and prenatal intake
Multilingual patient history, birth plan review, and discharge counseling with the family in the room — no scheduling delay.
ED triage
Sub-second interpretation on the floor when a parent or patient arrives and the on-call interpreter is 30 minutes out.
Primary care visits
Routine annual exams, chronic-condition follow-ups, and preventive counseling for LEP patients across a full clinic schedule.
Behavioral health sessions
Therapeutic encounters where pace and register matter — OmniLink keeps the conversation flowing while you focus on the patient.
Post-discharge calls
Phone-bridge interpretation for discharge follow-ups and medication adherence checks routed through your call center.
Pharmacy counseling
Prescription counseling at the pickup window or on a follow-up call — assistive layer, with the pharmacist always verifying critical instructions.
The posture your compliance team will accept.
OmniLink is built for the regulatory reality of US healthcare — encrypted end-to-end, US-only, BAA-gated, audit-tight, with §1557 language-access materials available on request.
Compliance posture
- HIPAA Security Rule §164 — BAA signed with OmniLink and every PHI-path subprocessor (Supabase, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, RingCentral) before activation.
- ACA §1557 — language-access materials documenting AI vs. qualified human interpretation in your specific workflow.
- Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Application-layer encryption on stored integration credentials.
- US-only data residency. Primary data store runs in AWS us-west-2. No overseas processing.
- Audit log on every consent capture, sign-in, sign-out, role change, integration grant, and data-subject request.
- Configurable retention. Default is deliver-then-purge: audio destroyed when your transcript lands in your EHR.
- AI training restriction: no Customer Session Content trains any public or shared model.
Delivers into your EHR
Approved transcripts and AI-generated session notes route to your EHR or document system on Approve & Lock. No exotic adapters — we use the same delivery webhooks healthcare IT already operates.
- Epic (FHIR DocumentReference delivery)
- Cerner / Oracle Health (FHIR delivery)
- Athena / athenaOne (delivery webhooks)
- NextGen, eClinicalWorks (S3 / generic webhook)
- RingCentral phone-bridge interpretation for call-center workflows
- S3 / GCS / generic webhook for any custom destination
Common questions for this industry.
Will OmniLink replace our qualified human interpreters?
No. OmniLink is an AI-assisted tool, not a certified human interpreter service. For situations where a qualified or certified human interpreter is legally required (court testimony, certain §1557 situations), arrange one. OmniLink is built to cover the routine, high-volume work where the human-interpreter wait is the bottleneck — and to give you documentation showing why machine-assisted was appropriate for that specific use case.
How long does the BAA process take?
OmniLink will sign a BAA with you and our PHI-path subprocessors (Supabase, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, RingCentral) before your healthcare workspace activates. The BAA template is available on request. Most healthcare customers go live within 2 weeks of starting the BAA process.
What documentation do we get for §1557?
A posture document explaining the role of AI-assisted interpretation in your specific workflow, the languages you have meaningful access to, and your fallback procedure for situations requiring a qualified human interpreter. We tailor it to your service area.
What about anesthesia or surgical consent?
Safety-critical conversations should be independently verified by a qualified professional and, where required, by a qualified human interpreter. OmniLink is appropriate for the lead-up conversations (history, education, scheduling) but should not be the sole basis for the moment of consent on a surgical or anesthesia procedure.
Where does the audio actually go?
During the session, audio flows from the browser or phone to ElevenLabs (STT) and Anthropic (translation) over TLS, in your configured retention window. After Approve & Lock, the transcript and AI note are delivered to your EHR and (by default) the audio is purged within OmniLink. You can opt into 30/60/90-day audio retention for cases where you need to re-export.
